It’s a side table and a floor lamp with hidden storage capacity. 

Styled like an oversized thread spool with a solid aluminium needle, this Spool Table is as whimsical as it is practical.

Lift the lid and boom, surprise storage. Chuck in your cushions, your blankets or anything that you want to keep out of sight but easily accessible.

Available in red, green or blue. Each Spool is wrapped in colour-matched braided cable and lined with fabric to match.

Put it in your lounge, study or bedroom. Put things in it. Look at it lovingly. Just don’t try to thread it through a sewing machine.

    excellent quality as expected, but maaaaybe not the best for cat households

    I had specifically been looking for some ottoman-ish thing with storage to store my knitting projects close to the sofa so that I'd pick them up more often while watching TV. So when this landed I jumped at it! I got the blue one, and the color is accurate to the pictures on the site. The table is very well constructed, exactly as I'd expect from Yetch :)

    The only downsides are things I didn't quite think through, so entirely my fault! 1) I don't need the lamp, and I'm still deciding whether I will keep the table closer to the couch (my original intent) and not have it plugged in, or whether I'll just put it where I can plug in it. There is a hollow spot in the middle of the bottom and some clip things, though it's not super easy to wrangle the cord to be stored entirely inside because of how stiff it is. 2) I realized as I was unpacking it from the box that my cats are 100% going to think this is a scratching post, and that was true 😭 The cord so far is very durable...I can't see any damage yet, and getting another scratcher for the corner of the room where I have it placed right now has so far been successful in redirecting my most scratch-happy cat, but only time will tell if that's true long-term.

    Lovely little table!

    I am always excited when something goes from an amazing project to watch on a video to a real life product. This one was a big commitment given the cost, but the quality far surpassed my expectations and it's on par with furniture costing more (that would never be as unique).

    The height is great, works perfect as a side table for a little reading nook. The included bulb is a little too bright but getting a lower watt bulb isn't a hard problem to solve if we want to change it out. I look forward to finding the right things to stash in the inside storage!

    Highly recommend if you're looking for a unique, high quality table to add to your space.

    Sew nice!

    Someone already made that joke, I’m sure. Anyway, I’m absolutely delighted with my Spool Table. The build quality is excellent; this is a premium item through-and-through. The cable storage solution in the base is frustrating, but only because it’s such a good idea that I’m mad it’s not on everything with a cord. Also, it’s a little thing, but the packaging was great as well - sturdy and protective without feeling wasteful (no giant styrofoam blocks to deal with). 6/5 stars.

    Everything we hoped it would be and more!

    My favorite books growing up were “The Littles” series and seeing this spool table gave me all the feels. I knew that we had to get it. The quality is AMAZING. Solid smooth wood spool, but hollowed out so it’s lighter but still stable. The light and red coils of thread are beautiful, but the needle… the needle… I’m so in love with the high quality engineering of this giant needle. (I think that I need to say quality at least one more time…) The high quality of craftsmanship behind this table, from inspiration to production… Simone, you blow us away. Mahalo (thank you) from Hawai’i.

    What a delight!

    If you are reading this you probably already agree with me that this thing is so delightful and fun. I pulled the trigger on the green one and I love it! Feels really solid and well built. Came to me nearly fully assembled (just had to thread on the top of the needle).

    My only wish for this is for it to have a dimmer bulb. We keep it pretty moody around here and the included bulb is too bright for me. In a perfect world it would be on a dimmer so people could dial in their preference, but I'm sure that was considered and didn't make it into the product for one reason or another.

    I'll be looking for a lower wattage bulb that keeps with the aesthetic of this one to install. I am going to put it on a lamp timer so it comes on automatically every night.
