OVERVIEW

Neighbors in the Tree (Majority Edge Piece Puzzle)

A giant tree. A hidden neighborhood. Dozens of tiny creatures living their tiny lives across every branch, and they're ready for you to move in. There's a sauna, a post office, an observatory, and plenty happening up in the branches that only shows itself if you look close.

Here's the catch: 300 of the 538 pieces are edge pieces. Normally those are the easy win, the bit you knock out first while you're finding your footing. Not this time. No easy starting point, no obvious corner to grab, no strategy that actually saves you. Just charming on the surface and a lot more bite than the box lets on. Recommended for Age 14+.

The puzzle is very good quality, the shape is great and the art is top tier. It's also bigger than I thought when looking at the pictures.

The product is 5 easily stars if you like to torture yourself especially with the last 30+ tiny foliage edge pieces.

My only complaint is that the express air delivery from China to western Europe was quite expensive (it came quite quickly in 7 days).

This is an absolutely great product!!!

I bought this and another of Simon's puzzles, and opened this one first. I haven't done a jigsaw puzzle of any sort in about 50 years, so it was an experiment -- I needed to find things I can do with only one hand during my recovery from rotator cuff surgery.

There were time when it was easy, and time where I held a piece and stared at the picture for half an hour or more without a clue where it went. At one point I was convinced there was a manufacturing error, only to find later that no, every piece was there and nothing extra was in the box. It was really incredibly engaging in a way I didn't really expect, and I'm super glad I stuck with it. More than once several hours went by without my even noticing, and that was great!!

Total time on this was probably close to 12 hours spent over the course of a week. I consider myself a rookie jigsaw puzzler, so I'll take that. And now that it's done, I'm going to disassemble it and send it to my mother-in-law so she can have fun with it too.

Great gift for a serious puzzler!

I bought the Neighbours in the Tree edge puzzle for my uncle as a birthday present. He’s a puzzle fanatic but it’s always a struggle to find one that challenges him. This was very well received!

    love it

high quality pieces (both the material and the printed image), with a perfectly loose-ish fit. I will say, the trip overseas did cause damage to the puzzle box (pieces and reference poster are undamaged), and I am unsure if these reviews are read by yetch, but I would suggest using a larger box for packaging and filling it with some padding.
